Sans Souci is French for "joyous, carefree and without anxiety". Our motto is DISCE PRODESSE which means "Learn to be of Service". Sans Souci prides itself on knowing each girl individually, thus making it possible to foster the sort of relationships which are so necessary for optimal development during the high school phase.

Sans Souci is a modern, progressive institution that keeps up with the needs of the times that we live in. Our girls participate in many varied sporting and cultural activities, which allows them to interact with many other Sans Soucians, as well as allowing them to develop their strengths and improve their weaknesses. As we are a smaller school, there are many more opportunities for leadership, especially in the higher grades.

The school itself is located on a site of exquisite natural beauty, overlooked by the majestic Table Mountain Range.
