Sans Souci offers the learners swimming
on three different levels:
The swimming team
participates in the inter-schools' Thursday galas, as well as the gala for
Girls' Schools held at the Newlands Swimming Pool. The improvement from one
gala to the next is most encouraging. The Inter-House gala is always an
enjoyable event: the spirit within each house is of a high standard and the
level of participation is pleasing. REPORT 05 FEBRUARY 2008 The swimming team swam at Camps Bay on Thursday. We only came last in one race, coming third for most of the gala. We also tied in fourth place, with third only one point away. All the girls swam exceptionally well. Well done, and many thanks to Ms Brown. REPORT 23 JANUARY 2008 We would like to congratulate Lee-Anne Kock who took part in the Malawi CANA Zone 4 Swimming Gala held in Lilongwe, Malawi, in January 2008. Other countries that took part included Zimbabwe, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Swaziland, Namibia and Zambia. She received medals for:
