 05 FEBRUARY 2008 The first team played their first match of 2008 and unfortunately lost against Pinelands. They did, however, manage to win 22 games. Parents, please note that all matches are played on Tuesdays. 12 March 2007 Last week the 1st team played against Fish Hoek High School. They drew their matches, 3-3, an improvement on their previous score, when they lost 6-0. The 2nd team lost 4–2 against Westerford High. On Saturday, 10th March, the girls participated in a round robin competition organized by Wynberg Girls’ High. Our girls had to cope with stiff competition, as most of the competitors play in the premier and first league. However, they learnt a lot and, most importantly, enjoyed the day. The results of our last matches for the season, are as follows: 1st Team won 4-2 against Groote Schuur. 2nd Team lost 4–2 against St. Cyprians. 20 February 2007 The second team has been doing well so far this month. They won both their matches against Camps Bay High and Good Hope Seminary. Tiffany Bouah, the Tennis Captain, excelled, playing well and winning a nerve-racking tie-breaker. Well done Tiffany! The first team had a bye, which obviously did not do them much good when they came up against strong opponents, Springfield Girls’ High, the following week. The Tennis Challenge is doing well. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays the tennis courts are crowded with enthusiastic and bubbly girls, eager to learn more about this wonderful game that can be played until one is well over 80 years old….or older! 30 January 2007 1st Team beat Herschel 6 -
0 13 March 2006 - 17 March 2006 Both the 1st and 2nd Tennis teams played their last match of the 2005/6 season last week: 1st drawing with Pinelands and the 2nd unfortunately losing to Camps Bay. Throughout the season the teams have played with much enjoyment and fine sportsmanship. Tennis will continue as an extramural activity throughout the winter terms, and league matches will recommence in the 4th term. 13 February 2006 - 17 February 2006 The 2nd Tennis Team beat Herschel quite comprehensively in their League match last Tuesday. Well played Donna Johnson, Jacqui Brink, Tiffany Bouah and Jamie-Lee Jacobs! 06 February 2006 - 10 February 2006 The girls in the 1st Tennis Team (Andrea Knowles, Winsie Yung, Ra’isa Hathey and Amber Parr) won their match 6-1 against Bergvliet. Congratulations! The 2nd Team (Donna Johnson, Tiffany Bouah, Jamie-Lee Jacobs and Stacey Dale) drew their match against Pinelands High. Well done! 31 January 2006 - 03 February 2006 The Sans Souci tennis teams had mixed fortunes last week. The 1st team lost 2 – 4 against Herzlia and the 2nd Team won their match by one game against Wynberg G.H.S. 10 October 2005 - 14 October 2005 The Tennis season has started and matches were played with the following results: 1st Team vs Herschel - Sans Souci won
