For several years our school, together with partnered with SACS in an informal arrangement whereby graduate alumni from our school and Rustenburg Girls’ High School were able to apply, alongside graduate alumni of SACS, for a SACS Rhodes Scholarship.
The attached communication outlines a proposal made by the Trustees of the Rhodes Scholarship that will see, among other things, the inclusion of UCT graduates to the pool of eligible SACS Rhodes Scholarship applicants, and the formalisation of the status of Sans Souci and Rustenburg Girls High School as beneficiaries of the scholarship.
Please read the attached carefully and consider submitting comments on the proposal contained therein. The notice process has been extended until 12pm on 18 November 2025 for comments.
We hereby invite you, as a potentially affected person, to comment by submitting any input to the SGB, for its consideration, when taking its decision on the proposed settlement of the dispute with the Rhodes Trust. Please do so by email to the address provided below. Please submit input to headmaster@sacollege.org.za.
